1. Rewilding with The Gonds
The "Rewilding with the Gonds" project aims to restore over 1,000 hectares of degraded forests in Chhattisgarh, India, with the potential to expand to 5,000 hectares and beyond. In partnership with local tribal communities, Women Self Help Groups, and village Gram Sabhas, we focus on regenerating ecosystems and creating sustainable livelihoods.
Key Goals:
- Restore native forests and grasslands
- Increase tree density and species diversity
- Sequester over 1 million metric tons of CO2 in 30 years
- Empower local communities through sustainable forest management
