Healthy Climate Initiative

Regenerating the climate is the greatest challenge of our time, and we choose to undertake it because humanity’s survival depends on it. The Healthy Climate Initiative (HCI) is a nonprofit organization committed to restoring a healthy climate and securing a safer future for generations. Through collaboration with partners, scientists, academic institutions, policymakers, and global organizations, we strive to drive real, impactful change. By addressing urgent climate risks and fostering long-term sustainability, HCI leads the way for a more livable and resilient world.

At HCI, we believe regenerating the climate is a shared responsibility. Bold, science-driven actions are essential to combat the climate crisis. By advancing cooling technologies, reducing emissions, removing carbon, and empowering communities, we take a comprehensive approach to create meaningful change. Through innovation, collaboration, and determination, we aim to secure a healthier, more resilient planet for future generations.
Our Vision is to regenerate a healthy climate and make it safer for our future generations.
Our Mission is to deploy innovative climate interventions that rapidly cool the planet, preserve the cryosphere, and remove excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere—ensuring a safer, sustainable future for generations to come.
