Healthy Climate Initiative

Restoring the climate is difficult, but we choose to do it because it is the greatest challenge of our time and involves humanity's survival. Our vision at HCI is to regenerate a healthy climate and make it safer for future generations. As part of our mission, we strive to preserve the cryosphere and remove excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

As an avid advocate for climate restoration, he worked in Fortune 500 companies in different capacities and chaired several working groups in 3GPP2 — an international industry consortium with over 75 companies that developed global standards for wireless telecommunications.

DR. BRIAN VON HERZEN

Vice Chair ,USA

Executive Director at the Climate Foundation and a Hertz and Edmund Hillary Fellow. He directs technical projects worldwide that can transform the way we connect to Marine environments.

MS. CAROLINA CARVALHO

Board Member, USA

Lead ecologist and data scientist at African Data Technologies. Carvalho managed the Environmental Program and is a certified permaculture designer at Kumano Shindo GIA.

DR. ARUNIMA GHOSH

Secretary, USA

Managing Director and Head of US Clinical Network, at Indivumed. Dr. Ghosh is a board-certified Pathologist with a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Cleveland State University.

MR. RAJIB RAYCHAUDHURY

DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY, USA

President of DelVal Flow Controls. Mr. Raychaudhury was the Business Head of Emerson’s Fisher Isolation & Ball Valve BUs. Between 2007 and 2015 he headed Emerson’s Valves Business Operations in Italy and India.

A veteran soldier. Currently, Mr. Bhattacharya works as a program manager in Ananda Bazar Patrika, the largest print media house in eastern India. He also served in the Indian Air Force for 20 years.
