The onset of the 19th century, along with large-scale industrialization and the reckless emissions of CO2, has heralded an age for global climate change
A massive departure from the indigenous lifestyle, the use of fossil fuels, and the natural world's destruction have led to devastating outcomes for the planet.
To combat these issues, HCI has partnered with the Jadav Payeng Foundation, the Nature People Network, and RecycleJar Ecosystem to promote rewilding of degraded landscapes where forests and mangroves, wetlands, and grasslands once existed. The project is set to take place across Northeast India, Central India, and Bangladesh. It plans to regenerate forests, mangroves, and grasslands by partnering with local communities and implementing best practices shared by them.
