Mr. Rituraj Phukan is an author, adventurer, TEDx speaker, and climate activist from Assam in India’s Eastern Himalayan region. A member of the Tai Ahom indigenous community, founder of the Indigenous People’s Climate Justice Forum and an active participant in UNFCCC and UN CBD indigenous caucuses. As Convenor of the Mahabahu Climate Forum, he drives grassroots climate action by engaging local administrative systems and communities.
