Dr. Abhijit Acharyya is a retired Assistant Head Teacher of one of the most renowned schools of Malda district, West Bengal. Now as a member of HCI, Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha and Rotary, he is involved in environmental and other awareness programmes among the school students of Malda district. Dr. Abhijit holds a PhD in Botany from North Bengal University of West Bengal. He was awarded “Shiksha Ratna” by the Government of West Bengal.
